Well as some of you know my biggest weakness are my SAT subject tests. I just got flat out rejected at Vanderbilt, who didn’t require the subject tests so I didn’t send them. All the ivies I applied to have my subject test scores, so I guess this means I will definitely be rejected. I’m just waiting for the rejection letters

For what it’s worth, my SAT scores aren’t the greatest either, but they say that the Ivies have a more holistic outlook than many might expect.

@anon9362 I totally get why you don’t feel like you’re doing well enough, but try not to stress. Your test scores don’t define you. (:

been looking through this thread for a while and wanted to join i was accepted to Duke, CMU, HarveyMudd, Northwestern Vandy and WashU up to now and rejected by MIT and JHU… and today rejected by Stanford. Stanford was one of my dream schools along with Penn and now I only have the ivies to come out (probably same for everyone else) I’ve literally been wondering whether I should go find a cave to hibernate in for the remaining 6 days and maybe wake up sometime during mid-April ughhh this wait is srsly killing me
Good luck to you on the 31st but remember that you also have all these other great options if the ivies don’t work out!

Guess it’s not the worst results so far but it’s concerning that the most selective schools have been holding off on me as of now, hope that streak changes come Thursday. I’m just waiting with anxiety as the rest of you guys are! Hoping for a Penn or Princeton acceptance at this point

@kunchandak I too was waitlisted at UVa, feeling the same way as you in terms of my chances for Penn
@graceann don’t feel bad. I probably would have been rejected. I think it was my sibling legacy that kept me safe (if waitlist is considered “safe” that is. I’ve read it’s almost impossible to be admitted off it) I guess it’s a nicer way to say “you’re rejected”. but I’m going to wish for the best!!
