Waitlisted. Any idea how many people on the wait list? :((
Waitlisted after being rejected from Vanderbilt; however, I am serene after being accepted into my dream school. I had friends MUCH more qualified and capable than I am rejected from Penn, so it is truly a crapshoot. Wherever anyone on this forum goes will be a life changing experience, because it matters who you are, not where you go. My dream school that accepted me is unranked, lol, but I know it has the power to change my life, because I will make it happen! Also accepted to Michigan, Georgia Tech, NYU, Purdue and Cal schools but rankings don’t matter. Never forget it is the individual that makes the world go round! I think anyone on this forum will be a success!

Accepted! YAY!!! 1440 SAT, 5.0 WGPA, rec from Kelly Writers House
I never got a request from Penn for IDOC, and I got in, so no, it’s not a for sure thing getting the request, just like not receiving doesn’t mean you won’t get in.
On a side note, I still feel like I haven’t gotten accepted, and keep thinking that this is some big prank. I feel like they are going to come back and say “Oh no, you got rejected.” Does anyone else feel that way?
My D accepted to CAS with invitation to Benjamin Franklin Scholars (BFS) and its distinctive freshman-year program for students in the College, Integrated Studies. I don’t see the finaid though.
Accepted to Yale, rejected from Harvard.
I also got the invitation for BFS. Does everyone get that?
Rejected.
ACCEPTED and selected to participate in the Rachleff Scholars Program (a multi-faceted honors program to conduct research with university faculty).
Rejected to Wharton after a deferral ED…
Waitlisted at Columbia and Harvard…
Really bummed tbh. I told myself not to get my hopes up so I wouldn’t be let down but I just really feel sad and upset because UPenn was my dream school
Accepted to CAS!
I still can’t believe this but I was accepted into the College of Arts and Sciences, and I’m 90% sure I’ll be attending starting next year!
Quick Stats:
1550 SAT
3.96 UW GPA
Decent ECs
Mostly great recs, all from teachers and guidance counselor
My interview evidently went well I was happy with how it went
Here are my other decisions, to me this just proves how random the college process can be. To all future applicants, no matter where you apply there’s always a chance!
