While UPenn's business programs are definitely better than Cornell's, how do their science (chem/bio/physics) programs compare?

penn has an edge in chem and bio, cornell in physics.

I'm not sure about bio, but I know Penn is known for its challenging chem courses. Cornell has physics, and pretty much engineering as a whole, as its claim.

There are a ton of life science research buildings here. The bio department ain't bad either for the whole teaching thing.

penn has the benefit of having the humongous medical campus right next to the bio department

cornell's medical campus is in... new york city (or qatar), not ithaca

Don't think about it based on departmental strength; you might as well go to Berkeley if that's all you care about. Think about your favorite in terms of location, student body, etc.
