As the title says, I’m applying to penn ED. I already sent the common app and writing supplement and everything else, but I stupidly thought that SAT scores were sent instantaneously and so I waited until October 30th to send mine. I did rush them, but they’re probably not going to get there on time. In the Penn applicant portal it says that I submitted everything except the SAT scores. So what should I do? Should I contact penn admissions? Should my school counselor call them on Monday? Should I wait for them to contact me? Is my whole application going to be instantly thrown in the trash, even though my scores, which they’ll see on the common app, are competitive? Should I self report them on penn’s website even though I wasn’t affected by the college board delays this year? I know that penn allows ED applicants to send their November SAT scores for consideration. Does that mean that if my scores arrive 2 or 3 days late they won’t mind? Any advice would prevent the heart attack I’m otherwise going to have.
According to the update Penn put on their website: http://www.admissions.upenn.edu/apply/whatpennlooksfor/testing
Basically they said you have until the end of November to submit your scores, and to self-report your scores if they’ve been delayed. I would just self-report anyway even though your scores weren’t delayed- I think everyone’s October scores sent to UPenn have been delayed anyways
