Hi. I am very interested in entering the healthcare field. I am having a dilemma: should I apply to the School of Nursing or the College of Arts and Sciences? I want to go on a pre-med track, but I also want to graduate with a nursing degree (just in case the pre med track doesn't turn out well). Dont get me wrong, I am very interested in both professions; either way, I would like to be working in the med field. I do understand that the core curriculum for nursing and medical school are very different, however, with Penn's interdisciplinary rule, is it possible for me to complete the courses for the MCATs while being in the School of Nursing? Will I have to take summer courses (I'm willing to do that)? I also feel that since nursing is more clinically oriented, it will give me that much more experience...

please help! Thanks :)
