UPenn student life

Other than frat parties, what do you do on the evenings/weekends?

Where are the places college students go to hang out?

I’m asking this b/c I’m gonna be visiting, to tour UPenn AND Philadelphia.

If it is weekends, Franklin Field (or where ever the Quakers are playing) is my personal preference for being on the weekends, follow by the normal college stuff.

Try to go to a game and at least throw toast. It is one of those things that makes Penn Penn.

(If you are a student here, stay all four quarters!!!)

Here's some Philadelphia suggestions:
1. Walk on South Street (funky shops/clubs) and stop in Jim's for a cheesesteak
2. Dinner at Chinatown
3. Reading Terminal Market

Hang out with friends in their rooms...or out on the grass

Catch a movie at The Bridge or maybe a cool show sponsored by Penn Presents...

Or maybe watch one of the shows of the bazillion performing arts groups at Penn...

Heck, that's just the things you can do on Penn's campus!

Go shop/explore Center City, Chinatown, Ktown, Old City, (1st friday! so artsy!) Independence Hall/Constitution center, Little Italy (mmm tasty)...that should keep you busy for a bit.
