Hey guys I'm gonna be a senior this year and i want to apply ED to either Brown, Vanderbilt, or Upenn. I have visited all the universities and i like em all im kinda stuck. I plan on majoring in neuroscience. I would like to either go to med school after college or do a MD/PhD. The reason i liked these three colleges most is because i feel that they have the best balance. I want to be at a college with a positive atmosphere mainly. Which college do you feel would be best for me based on the path that i plan in taking?

I think Penn would be the best. There are tons of research opportunities and the medical school is right next to the quad. I know quite a few people who are heading off to really great MD/PhD programs this fall.

If you like them all and all seem to have what you need to be successful pick the one that is in the best location for you relative to your home. ie. do you like being close to home or as far away as possible.

Penn sounds like a good option here. The Biological Basis of Behavior program here is world class.

All 3 are great schools. Do you expect any FinAid? If so, then go to the least expensive since Med School is quite dear…
