How’s UPenn’s BME compared to Cornell’s? What’re your opinions?

same question here, plus.....which school is easier to do well in (i.e. obtain a higher GPA)?

pennsylvania wins by a landslide

Penn's BME program is ranked as Top 6, but it will likely rise again after Skirkanisch (sp?) Hall is built in 2006. I don't think Cornell even offers a BME major - I think they have BE minor? Not too sure.

On a side note, for BME, think 6 hour labs and lab reports. My BE100 final project was a 30 page report that I had to write 20 of because my groupmates were gawd awful (one even dropped out).

Oh, that sucks Penn15! Yes, Cornell only offers BME as a minor so that you have to major in a different engineering subject. However, I'm sure you've all heard that BME isn't the greatest major to go into because the people who hire you in the real world just don't know what BME actually consists of. So, I was thinking that Cornell's way of a major/minor thing might be better in the shorter long run. Still, I also know that BME is a booming/rising area so that it might actually be better in the longer long run to outright major in it. Basically, I'm just torn. I don't mind what school is easier to get a good GPA in because that's not what I'm going to college for (although, once I go, I'm sure I'll be changing my mind about that, heh). There's pros and cons to everything, eh?
Also, I'm not thinking of getting a masters in BME so I suppose it might be better for me to major in it for undergrad. Oh, I feel so indecisive, help you guys!

whichever program is better, u can't beat Penn's location...
