I am interested in international relations, english, and environmental studies. But I am absolutely torn among these three schools. I've visited them already they are all nice and I don't really care what the weather is. I'd like to have some suggestions and/or info like pro/con about the colleges. Thanks.

Penn has a top English Department but it's political science and IR programs are not among the best. Penn is strong in Economics, Sociology, Anthropology and Psychology. Are you interested in these areas? Pomona would be best for IR among these 3. Pomona has a lot of international students (penn too) and really focuses on undergraduate teaching. Pomona is also great for environmental science and geology. Wesleyan is good history and IR too. I think Pomona would be the best of these 3 for your interests.

Did you consider applying to Johns Hopkins? JHU is one of the leading universities for international studies (Top 3), English (Top 10) and Environmental Engineering (Top 5).

I dont know much about the programs at these schools, but i would definatly choose Penn based on what I know. I visited it last summer...It is so gorgeous and such a good school.

I'm a Penn student, and it's a suprise to me to hear that Penn's IR program is not that great.

I am not an IR major, but I have heard that Penn has an amazing International Relations program, and that it is one of the best majors that Penn offers.

(And if you're psycho smart and interested in business as well....there's always the Huntsman program.)
