<p>Could you rank it by 1-10. I can't figure it out which to choose? I am planning to transfer from penn state or USC</p>
<p>Which one would you most likely see the students coming for a football game?
Does either Yale or UPenn have rivalries in football or other sports?
Also what about the workload comparison history/anthropology/philosophy?</p>
<p>In most of the aspects you listed, they are going to be quite similar.</p>
<p>Some differences:
-Penn has a better nightlife (Philadelphia > New Haven)
-Yale has better campus dining (Residential Colleges > Penn’s mismash)</p>
<p>Yale has a football rivalry with Harvard, Penn has a basketball rivalry with Princeton.</p>
<p>As for transfer, well…Penn is extremely difficult to transfer into, and Yale is damn near impossible…so if you are interested in either of them, you really should apply to both and just hope you get into one.</p>
<p>You are “planning to transfer from penn state or USC”? Ahead of yourself much? I think it’s a little premature to be calibrating fine differences between the guys at Penn and Yale when you haven’t even decided which college you are going to go to before you try to pull off a nearly-impossible transfer. Either Penn State OR USC is almost certain to have a superior grade of guys, anyway. How about seeing how things go for you there before you start planning your upgrade?</p>
<p>actually…its definitely NOT impossible to transfer into penn (i actually heard that its kind of easy—that is, if ur comparing it to the other big named schools like a stanford, harvard, yale). they have plenty of spots to fill and they even (atleast for the nursing school) give u a planner of reccommended courses that u SHOULD take at ur current college/university if u want to optimize ur chances of getting in. sooooo, penn is actually quite obtainable and u can definitely get there if u work hard…unlike yale - seriously, its REALLY a crap shoot when applying to that school. like ilovebagels said…its damn near impossible. but good luck with ur future endeavors, and just hope for the best!</p>
