Then in that case I have 2 suggestion: commit to 1 or 2 ECs that will help you on the way toward strengthening your application (if you’re interested in DECA, really spend time on it; it takes a lot of work to become good at role plays or write good national level papers) and find something REALLY notable to do during the summer after your junior year such as an internship or selective program at a university.
