Very few people w/ stats like yours are rejected. The mean reasons one would be rejected w/ such stats include:

-Poor recs
-Poor essays
-Not strong enough demonstrated leadership
-Not enough interest in UPenn, Wharton, or Business (any one of these could do you in: this is KEY...IMO the #1 reason you could be rejected)

The best anyone can give you is tips to avoid the crapshoot...after all, how much better can you get than 3.95 UW / 2330 SAT / 2350 SAT II?

like stambliark41 said, I can't see many reasons why you would be rejected. Great stats overall. good luck! i'm sure you'll be fine..wharton or anywhere else

M&T is tough though, I'd say it's 40/60 or so (I actually honestly don't know, that's just my random guess). If you get rejected M&T, I believe you'll probably be accepted Wharton.

My stats are very similar to yours, except I'm not from Philly and I'm not a girl ;) Also applying M&T, but with SEAS as my choice of school should I be rejected.. Good luck to those both of us!

Management and Technology--the Jerome Fisher Program, a highly selective program between the School of Engineering and Wharton. It's really difficult to get into, I believe there are around 60 people per year in the program.

M&T aka jerome fisher program is a joint degree program b/w management and technology (so u get a degree from both wharton and the engineering school @ upenn)

to gmman: =]] not being from philly might help u...it feels like everyone from philly suburbs is applying...although i know this asian guy that's from around philly that got in...he wasn't all that great...so i'm sure u have a good chance...

Sorry, to contradict you, but from what I've heard, being from Philly (the city) is a huge advantage. Being from the suburbs is neutral, and being from Cali (like me) sucks!! =) so I'm sure you'll get in, although Wharton as a whole is a tough program too lol

I have a friend who got into M&T last year. He's triple-majoring in business, math, and engineering. Crazy guy. His stats were similar to yours.

He wrote his entire personal statement about an empanada. =)

gmman: the OP appears to be from the subarbs (Montegomery County) and not Philly proper, making that neutral as you say it (just basing that on your statement)...I'd say the OP has just a good as a chance as anyone else and much greater than not applying at all ;)
