[ *] Volunteer/Community service: 500 + hours volunteering. Writing articles for free, helping tutor children, and the time I spent in Peru. Being Peruvian myself, I was given an amazing oppurtunity to go to Peru and help establish the aforementioned foundation (Fundacion Ninoes Del arco Iris). This was not externally sponsored, or was it a group trip. All of this was on my own freewill and ambition. There I helped teach, train teachers, and help with a lot of the administrative tasks. I am now the North American representative, and have led money raising events in my state for the cause. I also will have the possibility to publish some curriculum as I am working hand in hand with the organization currently trying to publish some of it out.

Wow great stats! You are a really competitive applicant for all these schools. That said many of them are super selective and it is a crapshoot for anyone.
