I'm a Dutch student who would love to study at the University of Pennsylvania next year. However, since I'm a bit concerned about my chances (if I have any chance at all...), I would appreciate it a lot if some of you could assess my situation before I bother myself going through the application process.

I am a 21-years old white male student from the Netherlands currently going to University for the fourth consecutive year. This summer I received my Bachelor's of science degree (in business studies, Finance major; this was a 3-years program), and currently I am enrolled in a (1-year) Financial Management master. Before going to University I went to a so-called 'Gymnasium', which if I'm correct is about the Dutch equivalent of a U.S. 'prep school' (though a 'Gymnasium' is not a boarding school). I have always belonged to the top 10% of my class (hence also in University). I am an active member of a student association and a fraternity, am student assistant of my University's Finance department, and in high school I have participated in the 'European youth parliament' (here only Dutch and Belgian students participated though).

I didn't take any (required) SAT or TOEFL tests yet. All courses/classes I took during my academic career were in English though so my English should be ok. I don't need financial aid (though it would always be nice of course). Finally, all education mentioned was at public institutions. Here in Holland almost no-one goes to private institutions though.

So please tell me, do I have a chance?

by the way; is being an international student an advantage because they seek for diversity?
