<p>Does anyone know how UPenn’s College of Arts and Sciences ranks among both universities and liberal arts colleges? </p>

<p>How difficult and competitive is the course-load for pre-med students in UPenn?</p>

<p>I need to make a difficult decision between UPenn, Swarthmore, and Rice. I intend to major in biology or biochemistry, anthropology, and possibly a minor in management. In addition, I might take the premed requisites. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!</p>

<p>Penn’s interdisciplinary emphasis is actually a good fit for the various areas you want to study. Plus, something like 90% of their pre-med undergrads are accepted into med school, so while their pre-med program is very rigorous, it also clearly prepares you for med school.</p>
