I bought a 1st gen 1G Black iPod nano back in Aug 2006. The 2nd gen came out in Sept that year. Do you think it's a good time to upgrade to iPod classic 80G?

The Zune 80 gb is MUCH MUCH BETTER than the iPod classic 80 gb.

lol, care to back that up?

HAHAHA, ZUNE, yeah right!
Ipod>all other MP3 players. There is no debate.
They are sexier, easier to use, better quality…did i mention sexier? How about sexier?

Yup, but keep the nano around. Store all your music on the 80g and use it for traveling and at home, and use the nano when running or at the gym.

just get an archos, lol.

iRiver Clix Gen 2 is probably the best on the market. Ask CNET, the pretty much agree with me two. I got one and its a million times better than my old crappy iPod.

iPod’s crap compared to the zune, interface is s*it and it’s got no radio

was never into ipods before but I got the touch and it is the best thing since sliced bread

I can get radio on my iPod.

Why don’t you just get a portable cassette tape player? Those are really sturdy and if you pay extra, you can have a radio built into it!

Ipod Is God

doesnt the iRiver have a limit of 8gb though? i like my ipod video 30gb. but i inherited that as a mp3 player. i’m not sure that i would have spend money on it. now if the iPod Touch every reaches 80gb then I might consider upgrading. usually there’s 1 or two upgrades a year to iPods so who knows maybe it’ll get here sooner than i expect.

i got an 80 gig for christmas. Before that I was using a 20 gig that had the 4 buttons across the top (not a click wheel).

I’ve got the 30gb Creative player, and I adore it. It’s great to have radio and voice recorder, and it’s got the video capabilities of the iPod.

i dont know why people like ipod too much…

For me at least, my ipod is easy to use, works well (it has temporarily frozen a couple times, but that was easily fixed), is attractive, is a good size (30 GB), and has a good enough battery life (I’d heard complaints about this in reviews, but it’s never been an issue for me); and the fact that ipods are probably the most popular mp3 players makes it easier to find help, compatibility, etc. The one fault I have with it is the lack of radio.

Upsilamba–they have headphones that have a radio receiver on it. You just plug it in and it works.

^^^
Just another example of Apple and their damn accessories. Why don’t they ever make it with the **** in it in the first place.

I have the iPod Classic 160 GB, and I like it a lot–mainly because it will hold so much. It works well, and the battery life (so far) is much longer than my old 30 GB. Cons: It’s fat, and there’s a slight lag in commands.

that’s funny, BIGTWIX. I find a blonde with big boobs sexy. Maybe one of us has our priorities mixed up… ::eye-roll::
