UPitt vs Michigan for Neuroscience

Hi guys I was wondering if anyone could shed light onto whether or not UPitt has a better Neuroscience program than The University of Michigan for undergrad? I'll be a pre-med. I know this was a thread already but that was a bit outdated so I was wondering which was better based on more recent events.

I got a free-ride to UPitt if price is the only deciding factor, but I'd like an honest (unbiased) opinion. Thanks so much!
PS: I also put this thread in for UPitt's section

Go to Pitt. Michigan, as well as virtually every other school in in this country, is not worth over 160K more in expenditures!

Not to mention that Pitt has an outstanding neuroscience program.

Pitt all the way. This is a no-brainer. Pitt has one of the best life-sciences programs and a top 15 Medical school. Congratulations on such an awesome offer from Pitt. Save the money for medical school.

Agreed with the earlier views… Pitt is a clear winner. Strong neuroscience dept. and cheaper to boot. However, be prepared for tough pre-med competition to get into Pitt Med school…tons of Pitt kids are planning/dreaming likewise. My D1 was one of them…she is a sophomore in Med school now.

Thanks so much guys! I really appreciate the advice
@i012575 could I ask what kinds of research opportunities and clubs she was a part of?
