Uploading essays via Document Upload System

Hi guys. I didn’t submit my essays along with my Apply Texas app, so I need to submit them via Document Upload. I have a few questions:

-Double spaced or single spaced?
-Does the essay need to be condensed into a single page? It says “if your essay is more than 1 page length, make sure it’s uploaded as a single document” but I don’t know what that means.

Anyone know?

I’d go with double spaced, to be safe.

By “single document”, I’m pretty sure just make sure your essay in in one document (pdf, doc, etc.)

Admissions Application Essay Submission Instructions

You have two options for submitting your essays.

1. Submit your essay online.

   Use a plain–text editor such as Microsoft WordPad to write and SAVE your essay(s). At the time you submit your admissions application, you will have the choice to SUBMIT all saved essays with your application, or to submit each essay individually later. ** If you choose to submit your essays later, come back to this page by logging in to your account and selecting the “My Essays” tab.**

   You will need your user name and password to access your account, so keep track of them.

   If you are submitting your essay online, it must be no longer than 120 eighty-character lines of text (including spaces and blank lines).

   If more than one institution to which you apply requires the same essay, you will need to submit the essay for each applicable application in order for it to be sent to multiple institutions.

   1. Submit your essay using the Document Upload System. After submitting your application and receiving access to MyStatus, you may submit essays using the Document Upload System.

My impression is you can go back to Apply Texas and submit your essays from there.
I haven’t tried it so I am not 100% certain.
