Hi I am an American student applying to McGill and they require you up load a sign and sealed transcript on to Minerva. The only problem is my school transcript doesn't have a "letterhead" like they want and the "seal" my school uses is actually just a embossement, so as you're imagine It hardly shows up when you scan it. Will the school see the transcript and reject it since it isn't exactly what they wanted?

What?? My understanding is that you have your school mail in the official transcript (which is probably only through 11th grade), and then YOU upload/self-report your grades in 12th so far. The official interim grades (January timeframe, right?) should be sent directly from your school. Where did you read that you have to provide the transcript yourself?

It says so on Minerva. It might only be for Americans. Americans only send grades If they are accepted

“To ensure the completeness of your file, you should upload an unofficial transcript. An official transcript must be sent directly by your high school/college/university only if you are admitted.” -http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/submitting-your-documents/faq
