Upon turning 18...

Things I did upon turning 18:
Dye my hair because my mom wouldn’t let me before

I never even bought a lottery ticket til I was almost 19. I don’t have any tattoos, or piercings other than the ones that have been in my ears since I was a baby. I’m boring, lol. I’m too indecisive; my mom never got a tattoo til she was almost 50 and it was something she really wanted.

How/where do you register to vote? I was just going to wait for the people to come to my school.

You fill out a form and send it in. I did it on my college’s campus though; they always have things like that set up on the concourse here, with people at tables trying to get people to register. I don’t really where else to get those forms… maybe your local courthouse or library?

Save your money, don’t get a tattoo (or piercing). At 18, how can your moral, philosophical, or any other view be concrete enough to warrant such a level of permanency? Tattoos, piercings, etc are pretty ridiculous.

Buy porn instead.

When I turn 18 I’m thinking of going to a local pub with some friends (legal drinking age here is 18). Reason being that I have to walk by this pub quite often on my way to school, and the food in there smells sooo good, so I want to see if the food tastes just as good :stuck_out_tongue: (Yes, I like my food…) Plus I hear they often have live bands playing so that would be cool.

Tattoos? Boy, am I lame. I only bought a cigar on my 18th birthday. But I didn’t smoke it.

your parents can pick one up at DMV and mail it off to you, and sign up for absentee ballots- my D just voted for her second time!!! She is in NY and votes in California

i am getting my lip piercd and my tat soon :)
