<p>I am a junior transfer student. I am signed up to take the upper division writing exam on Sat. April 27 so that I can (hopefully) test out of taking a writing class. I am an older student, have been writing my whole life, and have gotten A’s on all my papers at UC Davis so far my first 2 quarters. I really don’t want to spend 10 weeks taking a writing class when there are so many much more interesting classes I would rather take.</p>
<p>Any tips or advice on doing well on the writing exam? I know I must read an essay and there will be a prompt for my essay response. Any tips are very much welcome!</p>
