Hey! Looking to take an upper division course as a visiting student at Pace during Spring 2015. Can someone that’s a current student at Pace explain the course numbering?
Are courses numbered 300 and up considered upper division? What about courses in the 200 range?

I am a sophomore and I will be taking all 300 level classes. The thing is some of the classes have pre reqs others don’t, for example, child psychology is PSY 302 but there are no pre requisites so freshman can take it. Other classes such as TCH 311 have a pre req, therefore only sophomores can take it
It depends on the major. In the case of Accounting, the intermediate and cost accounting are in a series of classes that last for one year, if you jump in in middle of it in the Spring semester, you will be totally lost.
