Upper Division Poli Sci Class

<p>Just wondering what the requirements are for taking upper division classes in the poli sci department for anyone who might know.</p>

<p>I asked academic advising and they say that some of them don't require upper division standing.</p>

<p>Poli Sci person gave me a generic answer that I need 90 units to take an upper division.</p>

<p>The class description document on their website says the below:</p>

<p>"Upper-Division</p>

<p>Minimum requirement for all upper-division courses is at least one quarter of lower-division political science, or upper-division standing. "</p>

<p>I'm currently taking Poli 12 so based on that I should be able to take them but based on all the contrary information, I'm a bit confused as to who is right.</p>

<p>Some classes will require Jr/Sr standing but most won’t</p>

<p>You’ll be able to take them after POLI12</p>
