Upping my Chances?

Hey all,
so i'm a junior in high school and i'm hoping to get into a top 20 college. Unfortunately, the high school i go to only has one AP class, Calculus. I am taking the test this May so i think i got that aspect covered.
I'm redoing my SAT I cause i failed it the first time despite thinking i was pretty prepared. I'm taking SAT II's in June too so that will be nice.
BUT, what worries me is that a lot of my senior friends who had amazing stats got rejected from top 20 colleges.
What other extracurriculars can i do to boost my chances? Or, what other things in general can i do? I'm running for Vice President at my school so hopefully that will help and i also volunteer and i think i can get the silver award for volunteer hours.
No, i am not trying to brag about my stats; i am asking what else i can do to appear acceptable to top 20 colleges. For those who are got in i would really appreciate comments and advice on what to do.

Thanks again!

I think you should clarify what “top 20 colleges” is, as that is extremely subjective.

@Jadenio, well… i am going off of the US News post of the top 20-30 colleges in general.
