My grades have been slowly going down as a result of laziness and just being a bad student overall. In my freshman year, I achieved an unweighed GPA of 3.8 or 95%, but my sophomore grades were terrible. Currently, I'm in my last week of sophomore year and I'm studying for finals.
My grades for sophomore year are:

1st semester- [av. 88.995% WEIGHED or 3.5]

Academic Ecology - 90.21%
Web Design - 95.62%
English - 85.25%
AP US History - 86.28% UNWEIGHED; 91.28% WEIGHED
Algebra II - 82.63%

2nd semester- [av. 81.196% WEIGHED or 3.1]

Chemistry I - 68.32%
French II - 74.25%
Geometry - 76.3%
AP US History - 84.7% UNWEIGHED; 89.7% WEIGHED
Immigration Studies (3rd quarter) - 98.24
Wellness (4th quarter) - 96.58%

I'm ranked in the top half of my class.

Of course, with final exams coming up, the grades in my 2nd semester classes may vary by a few percent.

I also took the AP US History nat. exam earlier this month and I'm looking forward to getting my score this summer and I'm taking the SAT subject test on US history this week.

My colleges of choice are NYU, Drexel U, or Boston U. I usually prefer larger private universities on the east coast.

My ec's include violin (orchestra for 2 years so far), other performances w/ Suzuki Violin, President of a club for 1 year, member for 2 years, and volunteering as a candy striper at local hospitals over the summer. I'm biracial as well which is known to help out when it comes to getting into college... hahaha

If I start to buckle down and maintain a stable A for junior and senior years like I did in my freshman year, join more club activities, study in advance for the SATs and recieve great scores, as well as great essays and amazing letters of rec., will I have a good shot at being accepted to my colleges of choice? Would an ivy league school be possible too?
