Now I slacked off my freshman and softmore year and ended up with like a 3.0 uw and a 3.2 w. I decided to get my act together and pulled a 4.0 and 4.4 for the semester! Now would colleges maybe disregard my past and focus on how I am doing now. I would love to go to UF or FSU but my overall gpa is like a 3.5 now with that 4.4. I guess my real question is how much do they take in consideration of a upward trend like that?

I know plenty of kids that got into FSU/UF with those kinds of grades. What are your ECs and SATs?

It's not possible to have 4.4 unweighted...

hey titan r u retarted use some common sense how bout u look at the bigger picture and try not to make him look bad. he wrote 3.0 uw and 3.2 w and then wrote the 4 and 4.4 in the same order

State schools are usually quantative in admissions, looking for benchmark grades and scores. You might do better with an upward trend at privates.
