upward trends

My first two years of high school went like this…

freshman year and get 2 B’s (first semester, one in honors english, one in honors geometry) and a C in honors geometry second semester.

Sophmore year I had two honors classes and AP Euro and got 2 B’s first semester (Spanish 3rd year, AP Euro), then one B second semester (honors chem).

As a Junior I have 3 AP classes (English, US history, spanish) and two honors classes (physics, pre-calc) and am getting straight A’s or possibly one B in English.

My question is do i have a good chance at getting into top colleges becuase of my upward trend? Or will my slightly lower GPA Freshman and Sophmore year live to haunt me?

PS- next year my scedule will look something like

AP Bio
AP Music theory
AP Psych
AP Calc AB
AP English
band
honors american governent, honors economics

i don't think you're B's and one C in 9th and 10th grades will hurt you much. better to have an upward trend than a downward one. do well next year and your GPA/rank should be fine

My rank right now is like 15/900 but after this year it should get better.

I'm pretty jealous. I've had similar grades and my class rank is like 18% (out of a class of 760ish)
