<p>otis, with our applications nearing 8,000 this year, you're going to see an admissions rate of 31/32% most likely, which logically will lead to an entering class with "better credentials." If we achieve this %, it will put us more in line with schools in the top 20 in the LAC rankings based on admission %. I think the new President understands that quality of life is an important part of college, so you'll see an increase in retention and already you're seeing an increase in bigger donors to the school and I imagine that those who once felt alienated will start giving back, increasing the alumni donation rate. I believe that later this month, Ayers is going to give his vison for the University and I would imagine another capital campaign will kick off shortly thereafter. I'm not sure how they rate "faculty resources" and "financial resources" but I have to think that UR does will in both with their endowent. </p>
<p>If I recall, US news data has a two year lag on it, so you should start seeing UR moving up next year and the following year should have a nice leap. I'd be concerned if we didn't start moving upwards.</p>
