Ive been accepted to both univeristies, im undecided in terms of what i want to do. i know UR is more of a research school and RIT is more of a hands on IT school, but all i know is that i want to do something with science. Overall, which one would be a better school?

For science generally, UR. RIT is more of a career education and if you don’t know exactly what you want, where you’re going, then UR likely fits more.

Also, UR has better weather.

Better weather???

They’re both in Rochester and within 4 miles of each other!

If at all possible, visit them both.

We visited UR last week and although we were very impressed, DS decided he liked Case (which we visited Saturday) better. The visits made all the difference.

It was a joke. The word “Rochester” appears in both. There is a Rochester, MN but it’s somewhat colder and gets less snow.

Lergnom, I loved that post. And yes, UR in fact does get better weather.

Sorry, better looking girls…maybe, but not better weather!
