UR sent out RD admissions letter last week

Mine mentioned diverse interests too but then also said my qualifications as editor in chief of my school's newspaper would make me a valuable addition to their campus, etc. It was only like two sentences but still much appreciated :)

Does anyone know if earlier response bears any significance? Were these candidates "shoe-ins", so to speak, or is it random (like rolling)? No one seems to be addressing these fairly important questions...

BandW mentioned that even applicants that received response later on yielded positive results, but was it more rare? Am I overlooking something? I know it's too early to be freaking out, which it may seem that I'm already doing, but clarification would bring at least some relief.

Thanks, and congratulations to all of those with good news! (it feels so strange to already be even saying that!)

I have also been accepted :). I too recieved a personal letter which was a nice surprise. At first I thought that the envelope was another information packet because I wasn't expecting anything until April 1, but there it was :)! hugs letter

Oh man! I'm an international student in Pakistan. Do you guys have any idea when I'll recieve my decision? Are they only sending acceptances or are they sending all the decisions now? I can't wait...

haha they probably have some eletronic system where there's a category that you type in "we really liked you ...."

I'm guessing they just send a whole group of letters (both accept and deny) in batches as they finish them. There's no way they are done reviewing applicants.

I got accepted but my letter didn't see all that personalized

I just got accepted the other day! i'm very excited
