Urgency of AC requirement?

Hey should I try to complete this requirement freshman year? (chem e major, have to take a humanities anyway...)

I really don't think any of those classes are interesting in particular...

Do you guys have any suggestions of which earn the general approval and when to take the class?

Is it best to put it off or do it first semester?

doesn’t really matter; you’ve got all four years to complete it. i took it first semester of freshman year, but probably should have waited because i later found some classes that would have shot two(or more) birds with one stone, as in AC, upper div humanities, series requirement. these are engineering requirements, and don’t necessarily apply to the CoC majors. in any case, take the ac if you see something interesting, if not, there’s no big rush. if you’re looking for an easy AC, lightfoot is teaching anthro2ac in the fall. it’s an easy class, and he’s a good /sometimes boring lecturer.

I recommend waiting. Right now you should be taking prereqs and taking things that might actually interest you. ;-)
