<p>Did anyone get in? Does Amherst contact ppl to enroll at the very last minute when some ppl don’t show up when college commences? Has Amherst ever done this before? Any comments would be much appreciated! thanks!</p>
<p>I read somewhere that the dean of the college said the number of deposits at Amherst this year actually exceeded the projected class size, which means that they would pull virtually no one from the waitlist. </p>
<p>There is a super super small chance that someone got in off the waitlist at HYP and forfeited their deposit at Amherst, but I have a feeling that's only a handful. </p>
<p>OR if they rescind a couple admissions, I guess. Better luck next time?</p>
