I have a digital watch with a stop watch on it, but it makes a small (not very loud) beep every time you start and stop it. Will this be acceptable in the SAT room?
Will they automatically cancel your test scores?
Also, will they automatically cancel your scores if you are using a #2 mechanical pencil?

People are too anxious about SAT policies.
They threaten to cancel scores if there is a disturbance, which is why they disallow watches with alarms.
However, I have a digital watch that beeps every hour on the hour (I can’t figure out how to shut that darn function off) and it’s fairly loud in silence. So during the 3 hours and 45 minute test, it beeped 3 times. I’m pretty sure twice people around me noticed and looked around and then went back to their test. It actually isn’t terribly loud.

In any case, they don’t live up to their threats very often and it should be perfectly alright to bring the digital watch. You may want to refrain from using the stopwatch function but it’s up to you. It shouldn’t even be noticed, and even if it is the worse case scenario is bound to be is that the proctor asks to confiscate it until the end of the exam.
As for mechanical pencils, they don’t “cancel” scores due to that. They warn that they may not be able to read exams with mechanical pencils which can delay/disqualify your scores, but I know several people who managed to take the test with a mechanical pencil and got their scores back fine. It shouldn’t be a problem, but once again, you may want to play it safe and just use an old fashion pencil. No need to over complicate things.

Yea there isn’t much of an advantage using mechanical pencils - you may be taking an unnecessary risk.
