URGENT: Chances of getting a scholarship again?

I need to make this decision in a matter of hours...If I were to decline an acceptance/scholarship I received from Syracuse, and then reapply next year, do you think Syracuse would take me in? It's just that my mind is simply not made up...I don't know if I want to go away to Syracuse. So I was going to stay here in the city (going to a CUNY school) for a year, then reapply and transfer to Syracuse. Do you think I will or will not receive the same scholarship they sent me this year? The one they sent me meets 100% of my financial needs, but with four loans...

Without knowing your stats it’s hard to tell if you would be accepted as a transfer. Also they would take into consideration the grades at your CUNY school too.

I also doubt you will get the same amount of financial aid, since usually the money is saved for incoming freshmen, but I could be wrong.

scholarships are NOT dependant upon fin aid… if your finances stay about the same then the FIN AID package will remain the same, however, it depends on which scholarship you got. for example, the founder’s scholarship (12,000) and the chancellor’s (8,000) are only awarded to freshman but the dean’s (6,000) is for freshman and transfers…
