Urgent: College Transcripts?!

<p>Hey guys, </p>

<p>im sure many of you are in the same boat: for thos of you who are or have taken college classes through a local community college or state college, it is necessary for us to send the official transcript from those colleges to YALE by the dealine of november 1st for early app? can we just state this and the grades in the additional comments section of the common application? will yale not read your application if these official transcripts are not in, or are these only once youve <strong>hopefully</strong> been admitted? </p>

<p>Official transcripts from colleges are definitely required (see the CA statement under "Colleges & Universities"). It does say to have them sent "as soon as possible', so they might give you some leeway on it.</p>

<p>I think it just needs to be postmarked by the Nov. 1st deadline (?) not sure though...anyone else?</p>
