Urgent! Common app is going to ruin me

Hello all, I'm not sure if I'm the only one having this problem but I asked my teachers to do a letter of recommendation for me however they both said they haven't gotten the second email providing them with a password to access the site.
Now the due date was a couple weeks ago for most of my schools so no my only option is to have them type it up and I'll send it in by mail. I'm worried that it's too late and I'm also not sure if each school has a specific form for their rec letters or will a simple school letterhead suffice? The schools im applying to are Duke, JHU, CMU, Cornell, & Yale
If anyone has answers I will greatly appreciate it, and im interested to see if anyone has experienced this nightmare as well.

You can send a second request. Check the email address you submitted for the teachers to make sure they are correct and send another request…and then check with your teachers again tomorrow or Wednesday. I would not think the email would go to spam, but you never know.

Relax. Schools are easy when it comes to deadlines on receiving rec letters. you can print out the rec letters right from CA website from school forms section. This pre-prints your name, DOB etc ans also presents a multiple choice questions for teachers to fill out as well as provides space for extra info. If the teacher so desires, he/she can attach a separate word document sheet to this sheet and then send it in. Provide the teachers with an addressed and stamped envelope (the from address should be your school)

Thanks for the help, my mind is much more at ease. @collagedad

BrooksBrother: collagedad is right, Schools are easy when it comes to deadlines on receiving rec letters, transcripts. At least it is what my son’s school told us.
So we feel very relax, until yesterday, we found out one of the teacher’s letter has not been received by any colleges, neither showed on common app, nor on college web account.
We do not really how does it work, and saw you mentioned teacher will be provide a password to access the site, please let us know where teacher get password? to access common app? or naviance?
Only for my curiosity, anyone know if a consular can see teacher letter’s content via naviance? Thanks.
