My school never saw an application before ( I live in Slovenia) so I have to tell them how to fill it out:
On GPA thing, I have 3.8 UW (on 4.0) then 0.5 is added for each honors grade whichs makes me 4.2 W … But on what is the 4.2 ? on 4.0 scale or 4.5 scale?
PLS ANSWER ASAP.

Each student has a unique maximum GPA depending on the level of courses they take. I'm not sure what my transcripts say, but I would guess that your counselor should calculate what your GPA would be if you got straight A's and that would be what it was out of.

For example: This year I'm taking all AP's which are weighted 1 point higher than regular level and 1/2 point higher than honors. That means that my highest possible GPA this year is a 5.0. During my freshman year, it was not possible for me to take any APs and I took 5 honors and two regular(health and an introductory programming course) so the highest GPA I could have was a 4.36 with all A's.

... like I said, I'm not sure this is how all schools do it.

My counselor wrote 4.2/4.0. At first, I thought that must not be right, but then I realized there was a box to check for "weighted" or "unweighted" and she checked weighted.
