Hi! I am going to attend COSMOS at UC Davis in a few days and I am participating in Cluster 8- The Chemistry of Life. Two out of the three instructors have a very bad reputation on ratemyprofessor.com and I'm afraid that I won't do very well/understand the material. Tbh, even though I really do love chemistry, I'm second guessing myself and I'm just afraid that I will be very behind academically compared to my peers. I was actually surprised they accepted me...
If anyone has gone to COSMOS UCD, particularly if you have participated in the chemistry of life cluster, how was your experience? Did you understand the material pretty well? What extra science stuff did you have on your application? I only had that I am president of the Science Club... Did you already have a lot of knowledge on the subject of the cluster you applied to? I passed honors chem with an A but for some reason I still feel like I didn't learn enough to succeed at COSMOS. I really hope I'm just over thinking things. :-S
