<p>I am freaking out. The deadline for NYU is January 1st and my counselor disappeared. Literally. Since I am from Colombia, every document was written in Spanish so I had to translate them with an official translator. I was supposed to scan them and send them to my counselor, who was traveling for the holidays, on December 27th which I did. And after sending them to her, she didn't answer any emails and her cellphone is temporarily out of service... She had already completed the School form questions and the Transcripts and test results were the only documents missing.</p>
<p>NYU is closed until Jan 2nd so I wrote to the Common Application's applicant support and this is what they said:</p>
<p>"The only option you will have is to send the forms by mail, you will have to remove your counselor/recommender from the online portion of this process and post mark the forms before the 1st if you are unable to reacher your counselor."</p>
<p>However, how could I be able to send the School Form with the questions answered if there is no counselor? I have my original and translated transcripts with me, but should I send to them to? Wouldn't they have to be sent to NYU directly? </p>
<p>HELP. I don't know what to do. Should I wait until tomorrow to see if she answers or what should I do?</p>
