URGENT! Decide in next 23 hours Help!

PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!
NYU ED offered me the LSP Liberal Studies Program which is not my first choice CAS, is this binding? I mean do I need to remove all other applications to other school after I accept this alternate program?

the program is not my first preference, but I do not want to decline it.

After I accept the offer can I not go to NYU and continue my other applications?

Should Decide in the next 23 hours! dealine is coming please help
Thanks

Call them and ask.

I don’t think so but definitely call them to ask!!! You do not have to rescind any apps until you accept their ED offer. Also, if you applied for financial aid and you are not “satisfied” you can walk away from the ED offer. But make sure you call them first to see if it is binding.

If you accept, you are bound to NYU. Do you know FOR SURE that you can afford to attend NYU? Do not accept if there is the slightest amount of doubt that you can afford it. You will withdraw all other applications, and potential financial aid offers from those possible other schools.

Yes, it’s irrelevant that you got accepted to an alternative program, the ED rules still apply. You should read up on LSP and read comments on it in the NYU forum here. It sounds like a great opportunity, and you transfer into CAS after two years. I don’t think you should view it as a negative.

Thank you guys.
There are some sentences on the admission lettet that I don’t quite get it What does these sentences mean:“We will not bind you to your offer of admission because we have admitted you to a alternate program. We must, however, receive your decision to either accept or decline your offer of admission by January 15; at that point your offer of admission would, in fact, be binding, should you choose to accept and confirm your enrollment.”

I can’t call them cause the Martin Luther King Day, so please do help me, deadline coming…

It means that even though you applied ED, you don’t have to go. But of course, like all schools, if you accept their offer of admission, you have to go. And you have to accept by tomorrow.

It says that you can deny since you were admitted to the alternate program. So now you have the choice! But you have to notify them before the 15th

If you want LSP, send them an email and tell them YES. Then you will be committed under the terms of the ED agreement.

If you don’t want LSP, send them an email and tell them NO.
