<p>2 days left to make a tough decision. I plan on majoring in engineering. I am choosing between USC at about 35000/year vs. Mizzou (honors college) at about 12000/year. My family can afford roughly 12000/year without taking out any loans. Is the steep price of USC worth it over Mizzou honors? I live in Missouri, if it matters.</p>
<p>Go for Missouri. You can get a very good engineering education there and you won’t leave so much debt behind. Most ABET accredited programs will give you an excellent preparation.</p>
<p>Definitely Mizzou. The pay scale is pretty flat for engineers anyway.</p>
