URGENT: Early Decision II

<p>Okay... so I've asked this question a few times and nobody has been really able to give me a straight answer... </p>

<p>Here's the situation: </p>

<p>I'm applying to 12 schools, all RD. However, I DO have a clear first choice, and I can only apply ED II to one of my schools because I just finished up my last SAT II today... </p>

<p>If I do apply ED II (Deadline 1/1/2007, same as many RD deadlines), and I GET IN, do I never get to know if I got into my other schools, and thus wasting around 500$ or so? + all that energy and effort... </p>

<p>Also: can I NOT apply to other schools RD while applying ED II? Because if I don't get in, I'm kinda screwed seeing as they notify you if you got in or not Feb 15th (past ALL my other RD deadlines :()</p>

<p>if you get in ED2 you must withdraw all of your other apps and go there. basically 500 dollars down the toilet</p>

<p>You can apply to any one school ED, and how ever many RD you want at the same time.</p>

<p>The only point of ED 2 is to let the school know it is your clear and definite first choice. You'll still have to pay the other app fees.</p>
