Hi all,

I'm applying to Vassar via the Common App. Do I need to send that "Experience/person/issue important to you" essay or will the Common App one do ?

Hi all,

I'm applying to Vassar via the Common App. Do I need to send that "Experience/person/issue important to you" essay or will the Common App one do ?

Thanks to all

thats exactly what i wanted to find out. a little help here please, the deadline is drawing near. i've already written the suplemental essay, do we have to write the common app. one.

Im not sure....I know I did the personal statement, the activity of most importance, and the two vassar questions

If you are doing the common application, I am almost positive you have to do the "supplemental" application, which is Vassar's personal statement essay, as well as the analytical essay

If you're wondering whether you should write the Common App personal statement essay or just answer the Vassar College Personal Essay question, there is really no difference. Even though the questions are worded differently, if you think about it, both are the same exact question.

uh.. yea. i didn't even know there were two separate personal statements. i just did the one on the common app. (and the why vassar, and the your space, and i sent in the analytical essay.. )
