I planned to apply for financial aid for Wellesley but on the website it says that the due date for submitting FAFSA & CSS profile for RD is Jan 15 and today is Jan 17. Is there any possible way that I can still apply for financial aid?
I can't believe I missed the deadline. Man I feel so stupid and screwed.

I also want to know. Everyone (including my useless counselor) kept telling me I wouldn’t have to worry about it until Feb so I didn’t, but I just found out today that it was due 2 days ago. I feel like a big idiot.

I’m really worried now, but I think the only thing we can do is call the admissions office and ask them what we should do.

I don’t even live with my mom and it’s hard to contact her so I don’t even think I could get it done within the next few days. :(

Call the financial aid office on Tuesday and ask.

^^maybe if you explain your situation the office can work something out. My mom didn’t even get her W2 yet from her employer and she can’t file the fafsa yet because she doesn’t have enough information so I’m not sure how this is going to work.

I’m calling financial aid first thing on tuesday.

You’re supposed to fill out the FAFSA with estimates first, and then later go back and fill in the correct information once you have all the necessary paperwork.

This happened to me too last year. I missed the deadline by like 2 days or something. My parents called the financial aid office and they said it was fine and that people usually send them in late. I too thought it was odd because it was due so early.

Anyway, I was accepted RD and it didn’t seem to make a difference in my aid.

I talked to Financial Aid, and they said it was fine, and that I should try to get in the forms ASAP, but if they were belated it would be fine.

I got in ED and they said they wanted FAFSA by May or something… which sounds weird now that I’ve read this.

In my financial aid package, they said they wanted (if possible) all the listed materials by March.
