Urgent Help! GaTech App.

Hey guys!

I just wanted to know if anyone from India applying to Georgia Tech sent their original board marksheet to Joseph Silney for the attestation. That's what they're asking, but I'm not sure if you should send the original or a copy 'coz it'll be a huge hassle to get a new one if the original gets lost on the way. Please reply!

None of us are applying there to the best of my knowledge :(

Well, I am a Ga Tech applicant myself .

Firstly , If you want to get a new copy made , it will take a lot of time + u will have to come to Delhi (Assuming you are in the CBSE curriculum) . I sent my original mark sheet (Its not that much of a problem if u send it through a very good postal service , such as UPS , DHL … ) . As soon as the packet is delvered to the institution , it will appear on the DHL website , which is updated every 2-3 minutes .

So there is a 98% chance of it reaching the institution if you send it through a good postal service . The rest 2% depend on how bad God want’s to kick you Arse :stuck_out_tongue: .

Best of luck with that ! .

Have you started writing the essay ?

Actually, I am in Delhi…but I was still a bit worried about the marksheet getting lost on the way…but if you’ve sent it and it’s come back safe, I guess it should be fine, plus it’s not like I have a choice…do I?

I’ve just started working on the apps…had xams till now, n my school counsellor told me I’de be screwed if those marks go down…what about you? Btw, are you applying early or regular?

I am writing the SAT on October 10 , so I cannot apply early ! . Take a look at the visitor message I sent you.

hey I am applying nov.1 to ga tech, just wondering if that still counts as early since they have several deadlines. Also, how much time does it take for them to do the foreign evaluation and did you send only 9-11 marks or 12th also, because I still have yet to complete 12th grade?
