Urgent: Help Me Find Safeties...fast!

Hi all,
I have applied to 6 schools:
Northwestern
Brown
Cornell
UVA

I'm worried that out of a fluke I might not get into my safety, vtech, and all the others are matches/reaches. I'm an instate applicant, and here are some of my stats. PLEASE help me find more safeties that are still open for applications, preferably till around the 15th. I have plenty of essays/stuff all done so filling out another app or two wouldn't be to difficult. Anyway, please HELPPPP. Female interested in Biomedical engineering/neuroscience, but not premed.

I HAVE A STRONG DESIRE TO GET OUT OF VA PLEASE SOMEONE HELPPPP

Apply to Case Western - very strong biomed engineering department. Application due 1/15.

Why are you worried about VTech?

Your definitely in

You're in-state, so you're probably in at UVA and W&M. Forget Brown. Northwestern and Cornell are both reaches, but you're in the ball park with both. 40-60 chance with both.

If you're looking for good schools with Jan 15 deadlines that will probably accept you, here's three: Brandeis, NYU, and George Washington. Also, U of Michigan has rolling admissions through Feb 1. Don't know if they have the progam you're looking for, though.

Yeah, unfortunately
NYU- only has general engineering, it's not really a strong point of theirs as far as I can tell.
Brandeis- no engineering at all
George Washington- 20 minutes from my house, No.
U Michigan- ginormous and expensive state school... probably the same rate of getting in instate UVA as out of state Mich.

any more ideas are still appreciated!!

well.. it's no safety, but it's another chance at least . I've researched more about Michigan and I actually really like it... so I'm going to apply. thanks!

Go for it. Median M+V at Michigan is 1305. 75th percentile is 1410. With your M+V at 1420, strong SATIIs, strong APs, great class rank, and good ECs, you should get in. 62% of 21,293 applicants were admitted last year. 47% of those admitted enrolled. 36% were from out of state.

if you're really scared, i'd say apply for GMU or VCU, just in case. but it looks like you're gonna get into vatech at the very least!
