URGENT! Help needed with Georgetown's Score-Choice Policy

Hey everyone,

I'm applying to the Georgetown SFS early action, but I'm running into a quandary with Georgetown's testing policy (requires all tests) and the SAT score-choice option. I'm sending in my SAT reports (including my SAT from this month, October), as well as one of my subject tests, U.S history. Even so, I'd prefer to not submit my second SAT II score, for literature. I love english, but for some reason, I didn't do very well at all on that one (630) and I intend on re-taking it soon.

Should I simply take advantage of the score-choice option and omit the score? Cancelling it would get rid of my U.S History SAT II as well, which I'd rather not do. Or, should I just send it in, and notify the SFS that I'll be re-taking it soon?

Are you SURE that you can’t “score choice” and select your History but not your English? Have you tried? I THINK I went through that process and EACH subject test was listed separately. I’m not betting money on that but I’m pretty sure that’s how I remembered it. If you actually CANCEL scores…YES, it’s ALL tests for that one day. But to SEND scores, with score choice, I’m nearly positive you can select any given test.

Send both of them…this will show that at least you tried. I made the mistake of not sending in any because I had a 730 and a 540, and was deferred early admit…then was accepted regular when I sent them…SEND THEM
