urgent help required.

can somebody tell me abt the SAT score required to get into UMD?I don't know anything abt this university. Is it a gud university?I have applied for an undergraduate course in computer science..pls i need help coz i really want to get into this university.

Thanks in advance

Why do you really want to get into a university you know nothing about?

Try http://www.umd.edu/

Hire a spelling tutor

If you search the internet you can find out more. The school's web site is a good place to start. Then you can check out places like princetonreview (which does give the middle 50 percent SAT scores -- http://www.princetonreview.com/college/research/profiles/admissions.asp?listing=1022953&ltid=1&intbucketid= ), studentsreview, and campusdirt.

I would also ask about the school in the college search and selection forum and even the other college majors one.

Although I live in Maryland, I don't really know the strength of the computer science department. Since you live in India and somehow have a desire to attend UMd, I assume something led you to the school.

Traditionally, it wasn't seen as that remarkable a school. But in recent years it has gotten more selective and some programs are reputed to be quite good. As I said, I can't tell you if computer science is one of them. I know there are folks in the college search forum who have books with the rankings of different departments, so with luck they can help you out.
