Urgent help required.

I applied to Harvard, Princeton and Yale for the class of 2014. I submitted all my common application and financial aid documents on time. I even had an interview with a Princeton alumni.

I had asked my counselor to send in an application fee waiver to all these institutions on my behalf. She sent NACAC fee waivers to all of them. The problem is that I have now found out that NACAC fee waivers are not accepted from international students.

What should I do? Pay up the fee? If yes, where? Commonapp.org? Or wait for a notification from the colleges??
Don't you guys think its too late or something? And yes, I would also like to share that I wasn't able to give SAT I as my flight was canceled. My SAT II's are 800 each with Physics, Chemistry and Math Level 2. I got 110/120 on TOEFL. I mailed all these colleges to accept my TOEFL instead of SAT 1. They agreed and have told me that they would take a decision keeping my circumstances in mind and would consider my TOEFL instead.
What do you think I should do? I mean, its not that I can't pay $215. But yes, I will accept it would prove quite heavy on my parents- its about a third of my family's total monthly income.
Any suggestions are welcome!! I shall be highly grateful for your replies.

is there any way for you to call up the admissions office and ask? I mean, it’s still currently reading season, I believe, and they wouldn’t have processed your application or set up the Princeton interview if there was any problem.

You could try and email, but you would have to wait for awhile because it’s pretty busy in the offices, I think. I’ve tried to email a few places and almost always got an automated reply (unless you know a specific person-in-charge you could ask).

Whatever it is, I would recommend that you call during office hours, good luck!

Thanks a lot jamapelle! I am glad to hear that.
I will call them up tomorrow.

In the mean time I would also request the other forum members to present their views.

Thanks again!!

No forum members’ opinion is more worthwhile than your actual telephonic communication with the colleges. Good luck to you.
