I know this is more about SATs, but oh well. I'm applying to Dartmouth ED, and they only require two SAT II scores. I have a 660 Biology-E, 700 U.S. History (yes, I know these two suck), and a 780 Literature. I know they'll get all three of my scores through CB, but should I write down the biology one on my common app? Do I have/need to? Will it really matter? Thanks for your help!

I think you should write down the biology score; they're going to receive it anyway and it would look odd if you didn't put it down, and yet you put your other two scores down. Most schools look only at the higest two SAT II scores, I think. Since Dartmouth didn't seem to require specific SAT II scores, it seems reasonably safe to assume that.

Btw, a 660 is Bio-E isn't bad.

Haha, I used to think that was good until I started hanging around CC. This place is terrible for my confidence! There's way too many freaking geniuses...we need to start a "CC Not-So-Smart" board :).

grin maybe we should!! But of course 'smartness' is all a relative term and whatever else others spout. :p

G'luck with your application. Wow, Dartmouth ED!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm never going to get in, but I'm following my mom's advice: "If you don't apply, you'll definitely be rejected!" So we'll see what happens :).

That's sound advice! A little better sounding than "You'll never know if you never try!"
Wish I could apply to an Ivy/Top Tier which offers great intel finaid, and not get weird looks from my counselor as I tell her the schools I'm applying to. :p

I had people telling me not to be "drawn in by the prestige" and "well, good luck with that" while giving me looks like 'YEAH RIGHT!' Nobody in the area I come from (well, barely anybody) has any ambition, so I look like a total dork. But oh well, I'll show them all when I get into the community college! :P
